How Does IIIDA’S Franchise Program Of Skill Development Training Work?


IIDA helps with NSDC registration for training centers who are joining hands with us in supporting our core mission of the upliftment of all. With our guidance, the partners get the know-how for running all available courses.

Over the years, IIDA has developed affiliations with the Directorate of Technical Education, Slum Clearance Board, Tamil Nadu Open University and others. In August 2020, IIDA received approval as a Training Partner of the National Skill Development Corporation under the “Skill India” program, which operates under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. Thereby, through IIDA, the franchise partners have access to become an approved “Training Centre of NSDC” for non-funded short-term and long-term courses or job roles. This means that they too can become change agents in the lives of the underprivileged in their areas. NSDC offers many programs under 38 Sector Skill Councils, many of which IIDA is authorised to offer courses as listed below:

How To Become A Training Centre Of NSDC With IIDA?

Choosing one of the 3 ways of franchising:
  • IIDA will support the organisation with guidance in start-ups, fulfilling Govt requirements, providing syllabi, prescribing examinations and giving certificates.   • Training centres under various other Govt or private schemes for which IIDA will give guidance for initial start-ups as well as joining a forum of franchise partners for mutual exchange and improvements.
  • Institutional Franchise with IIDA
    If NSDC Training Centre registration not achieved or not wanted immediately, the IIDA Institutional Franchise can be chosen, which offers wide-ranging cooperation in guidance of start-ups, supplying syllabi, examination papers and certification

The Process Of Enrolling Under IIDA As NSDC Training Centre:


Now that organizations are aware of the benefits of getting NSDC affiliation through IIDA, they can assess the goals of their organisation and choose a franchise option with IIDA. The process for enrolment is as follows:

Firstly, confirm whether you choose the franchise for the NSDC option

Study the MoU for the franchise (iida-india.org/franchise).

Fill out the Application form with your details. (below) and send a signed and scanned copy to “info (at) iida-india.org”

Wait for a response from IIDA. Generally, a personal visit or a phone conversation will help select the right kind of franchise, types of courses and, if need be, guidance for start-ups.

After approval and payment of the moderate application fee, the MoU will have to be filled out in duplicate and signed by a senior official of the organisation. The second copy of the MoU will then be countersigned by IIDA.
